Recent Film Productions

Here is a teaser for a recent Midwest Food Stories production entitled RESA. This film was simply a joy to make. The word resa is a Swedish word meaning journey, and I never could have imagined how great and significant the journey would actually be. Simply put, I truly fell in love with the North Shore of Lake Superior while working on this production and after many more trips, we decided to make this amazing place our home.

I’ve produced a good deal of video content for my friends at Hungry Hippie Tacos, but here is a short piece about how they create the awesomeness. I also just completed a brand new menu design for them, which included the creation of some really fun new taco names.

One Staff Medical Brand Culture Film

Not Sure Yet is a short film that I produced in March and April of 2020. I asked some friends to share their thoughts- their story- on navigating these crazy times. Friends from all over the world responded with incredible insight and honesty. So many different situations and perspectives...I created this short film based entirely on their words. I gathered all of the footage the last couple of years. Filmed in Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Montana, Utah, Idaho, South Dakota, and Oregon.

One of my favorite Midwest Food Stories productions. This was just a heartwarming experience being with Chef Michael and his family and learning about why they do what they do.

Running cattle in the Sandhills of Nebraska. The Morgan Ranch, north of Burwell, has thrived for close to 100 years and is home to 4 generations of ranchers.
The Niobrara River Valley in Northern Nebraska has spectacular scenery and tons of recreational opportunities. Six different ecosystems converge to create a one-of-a-kind world on the northern end of the Sandhills near Valentine, Nebraska.
Badlands in western Nebraska. Great camp spots and amazing hikes. Well worth the drive.
Heartland Elk Ranch is an extremely rare and beautiful place. Located near Sparks, Nebraska on the Niobrara National Scenic River. Cabins are available year round- amazing place to stay.
The Calamus River meanders through the Sandhills of Central Nebraska. The river flows into the Calamus Reservoir, which has incredible camping, fishing, and boating opportunities.
